SEEDS Collaboratory DAO
has been given birth

Great News! The SEEDS Collaboratory DAO has been initiated, and coincidentally in November, the same month as the SEEDS 3rd Anniversary, creating a pulse in the nucleus core of the ecosystem.
The process of the DAO exploration is halfway through and the first proposal template will be established by the three initial members, Alexandra Escobar, Mark Epstein, Danny Quilitzsch, and many others that will join the effort.

There is a roadmap process of deployment still in consideration, and if you feel the energy calling you to participate and be part of the roadmap please get your Activation and let us know how would you like to contribute on the Discord server under DAO activation working group.

GET TO KNOW ONE MORE REGEN CIVICS ALLIANCE PROJECT

Heartland Collective

Heartland Collective is one more amazing project out of the cohort of thirteen projects integrating REGEN CIVICS Alliance, Season 1. It is located in the US, North California, one hour from Sacramento and the nearest town is 45 minutes away. Twenty-six acres off-grid, powered by the sun with hundreds of acres of open space around. Anders Gustavsson is the Heartland Collective visionary and founder.

Heartland Collective is designed to be a Regenerative Business Incubator. Currently in its growth phase, they count with heartlanders (more than 100 hours time donation) and volunteers to build the space. There are four elements foundational to its developing phase: building, growing food, hospitality and media. Several programs are offered on a continuous basis, such as Growing Food 101 and CoLab Campout.

SEEDS 3rd Anniversary Celebration

SEEDS ReFi Fest was a great success!

SEEDS 3rd birthday anniversary celebration on Nov. 5th culminated in a seven-hour broadcast and hybrid event hosted at Regen Campus in Flat Rock, NC, U.S.A., where Land Steward Kerry Lindsey graciously provided Regen Civics (and affiliate organizations) the space to gather, share, and co-create. You can learn more about Regen Campus, its upcoming events, and how it is evolving to serve as a pilot, template, and incubator to support other villages in their development here.

To recover the costs accrued by producing ReFi Fest AND to release a playlist of edited footage captured PLUS a documentary showcasing what we are collectively building as a part of the Regenerative Movement, we’re asking the SEEDS community and ReFi Fest participants for help. Mark Epstein

Mark is a self-made farmer. From mathematics and finances to building the soil and growing nourishing whole foods. He shares his joy in life with his wife Jules Latham and their two children. Being the whole family vegan, it became logical and natural to build the Flow Veganic Farm.

Mark joined the SEEDS community in its early stages and quickly became an engaged contributor to the SEEDS ecosystem. He is the lead for the Tokenomics redesign and contributed to all the work building the whitepaper. He is a key participant in the ecosystem with his dedication and tenacity being recently elected as one of the first members of the SEEDS Collaboratory DAO. It is with pleasure that we featured an amazing human being who creates community by giving his best to the SEEDS ecosystem and beyond.

Flow Veganic Farm

FLOW “A state in which people are so involved in an activity that nothing else seems to matter.” - Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi. Flow farm is a 15-acre farm with a beautiful forest with pine and hardwood trees, and a healthy forest floor peppered with leaves, needles, ferns, and mushrooms.

The farm mission: "to grow intensely healthy food, sustainably, organically, and veganically". The farm uses only sustainable methods that contribute to the harvest of Asparagus, Broccoli, Broccoli Raab, Brussels Sprouts, Cucumbers, and Eggplant to name a few. The most important aspect of the farm is the rotation of the crop and the varieties of the diversity of plants making the soil strong and nurtured. Flow farm also hosts educational tours and facilitates the growth of Biochar in their artisan kiln.
