GET TO KNOW ONE MORE REGEN CIVICS ALLIANCE PROJECT

Salt Cross Garden Village

Salt Cross Garden Village is one more amazing project out of the cohort of thirteen projects integrating REGEN CIVICS Alliance, Season 1. It was in 2018 when it was proposed as a new garden village near Eynsham, within the West Oxfordshire District Council, UK, in response to the climate emergency, transport, biodiversity, housing affordability, infrastructure, and the potential impact of development on the surrounding area.

The plan is to have 110 self-build homes made up of three co-housing clusters.  They have been working with regen-focused citizen-led groups to form around these sites. The cohousing is the minimum they want to see, with the full aim being the phased transfer of the land into a citizen-led trust.

If you want to learn how Salt Cross developed its plan in conjunction with the local state, check their Area Action Plan (AAP).

Latest Update on
SEEDS Tokenomics

The Currency Working Group has been exploring economics, the SEEDS Commons was created via a Citizen Milestone Proposal with the purpose of “Stewarding the health of the SEEDS ecosystem”, and now the SEEDS Collaboratory DAO has been launched, which will be the location where people will come together to take care of the ecosystem and the Citizens will be able to serve their governance role.

Click below to read the complete article that shares how the Currency Working Group will evolve into the “Economics Circle” in the SEEDS Collaboratory DAO, and the tokenomics work that will continue there.
